George Bradshaw Obituary

Elk Grove, California - George Joseph Bradshaw, Sr., was called home to be with the Lord on 10/29/2022. He was born in Sacramento on 3/17/1937. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Bradshaw (Shoop) with whom he raised two children, George Bradshaw (Micki) and Julie Lewis (David). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christian, Jessica, and Heather, and great grandchildren, Dominic and Eli. He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Shreffler, and step-father, Butch Shreffler.
George graduated from Christian Brothers High School. He volunteered for the CA National Guard and transferred to the US Army Reserves. He retired after 30 years of employment with the US Federal Government. George loved serving his country and was a true patriot!
George was dearly loved by his family and friends. His legacy to his family is a treasure of memories of a kind, generous, hardworking, and loving man. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Viewing will be November 10th from 9am-12pm at East Lawn Memorial Park, 9180 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA; funeral at 2pm in the East Lawn chapel. Donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
