George Joseph Breslin, age 67, of Rudyard, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family, on August 19, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 3, 1958, in Woodbury, New Jersey, to Thomas and Susan (Harper) Breslin. George grew up in Woodbury and worked as a warehouseman and forklift driver for Paulsborn Packaging. In 2018, he moved to Rudyard, Michigan, where he enjoyed a quieter life close to nature and family. Although George never married or had children of his own, he had a heart as big as they come. He was deeply devoted to his family and especially close with his nephews and nieces, sharing a special bond with his nephew, Jeffrey Edmunds. A man of quiet faith, George was Catholic, though not active in a church community. He loved the outdoors, finding peace in fishing trips and joy in bird watching. George is survived by his siblings, Patricia Isabella of Westville, New Jersey, Thomas Breslin of Wenonah, New Jersey, Susan Breslin of South Carolina, Dennis (Jacqueline) Breslin of Rudyard, Michigan, Earl (Stacy) Breslin of West Deptford, New Jersey; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Susan. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dennis' home at a later date. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.
