George Douglas Buchanan Jr's obituary:

On June 3, 2024, the world lost a remarkable individual with the passing of George Douglas Buchanan Jr. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, a true giant in his kindness towards others. Born on May 19, 1972, George touched the lives of many with his witty personality and love for music.

A graduate of South Oak Cliff High School in 1990, George further pursued his education at Grambling University where he showcased his talents as a member the World Fame Tiger Marching Band. His passion for music shone brightly through his performances, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of witnessing his artistry.

George was known for his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys, a true fan through and through. His enthusiasm for the team brought joy to many around him, reflecting his vibrant spirit and dedication to the sports he loved.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him. George's memory will live on in the hearts of his surviving family members, who will forever hold him dear. As family and friends gather to honor his life, let us celebrate the wonderful person George was and the positive impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Wake  to commemorate George Douglas Buchanan Jr's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on June 14, 2024, 7:15 PM -8:15 PM followed by a Funeral Service at River of Life Church in DeSoto on June 15, 2024. At 11:00 AM. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
