George Butler Obituary
He was born Friday, August 29, 1969, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of George Calvin Butler Sr. of Emerson, Kentucky and Lana Bryant Butler of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
George loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, collecting items, painting pictures, and riding his atv and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Keri Butler (Douglas Caseman) of Emerson, Kentucky, and Kristi Butler of Vanceburg, Kentucky; one brother, Gerald Butler of Emerson, Kentucky; one sister, Ingrid Foxy of Marathon, Florida; the mother of his children, Cheryl Butler, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Smith Gilliam Cemetery on Laurel with Brother Danny Cooley officiating.
