GEORGE E. CARTER, SR., age 81; beloved husband of the late So Sun Carter (nee Son); loving father of Kerlly Ismail and George E. Carter, Jr. (Jakeba); dearest grandfather of Devinn, Devonn, Destiney, Michael, Marissa and Devonna Carter and Nile Ismail; great-grandfather of six; brother of Charlene Dixon (Willie) (both deceased); U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Service at the funeral home Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 1 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
