George Lee Clark Jr., 65, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on October 19, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 9, 1959 to George Lee Clark Sr. and Carole Figner-Knowlton.
Survivors include his mother, Carole Figner-Knowlton, of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio, his sisters, Tracey Willaman, of Florida, Robin Kelly, of Delaware, Ohio, and Mollie (Riley) Flaherty, of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio. His nieces, nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews and his loving cat, Simon. Preceding him in death was his father George, and his longtime companion Tina Eichel.
George was truly one of a kind. There was nothing he couldn't create, repair, or understand. He had such a beautiful mind and a kind heart. George graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1978. George had written a novel Heaven's Pen which he had worked on for several years. George was an auto mechanic who owned and operated Brookwood Auto and Clairmont Auto in Atlanta and had his certification through Kobalt Electronics. He had a passion for vintage cars and singing Karaoke. George was also a dedicated runner and enjoyed staying in touch with old friends. In his youth, George was an Alter Boy at St. James Catholic Church, Columbus. George enjoyed playing piano and guitar. He loved his cat Simon, who was always by his side, and he filled every room with laughter and life.
