Doris was born on Sunday, July 10, 1955, in Delaware, Ohio to Paul Riley and Ruth I. (Russell) Riley.
After graduating from Rutherford B. Hayes High School, Doris went on to work at Grady Memorial Hospital for over 20 years in nutritional services.
Doris was a hard worker, who took pride in doing her job perfectly. She worked many hours in her time at Grady, and she made the job fun for her coworkers while doing it.
In her spare time, Doris enjoyed going out to Lake Erie and fishing with her significant other Greg Reynolds. She also enjoyed spending time with many beloved pets throughout the years. Her animals ranged from dogs and cats to more exotic animals such as birds and tarantulas. Doris loved her animals and always put them first.
Doris is survived by her loving partner Gregory Reynolds; uncle Bob Russell; as well as cousins and dear friends.
Doris L. Smith is preceded in death by her parents Paul Riley and Ruth I. (Russell) Riley.
