George Allen Coley, 62, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, in a San Antonio hospital.
George was born June 12, 1961 in Beeville to Joe Tom “Bud” Coley Jr. and Regena Faye (Mulinix) Coley. He attended Beeville ISD and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was employed in the oil rig and water well industries and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hog hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Regena Coley; a brother, Charlie Coley; and several nephews.
Survivors include his companion, Debbie Martinez of Beeville; a daughter, Tricia Sugarek; two grandsons, Joe Moreno Jr. and Jorden Sugarek; two sisters, Nora Coley Racicot and Martha Morgan; stepchildren, Rey Martinez, Senaida Gonzales, Samantha Maldonado and Sabrina Maldonado; several step-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Traxler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Antonio Moreno, Rey Martinez, Charlie Joe Coley Jr., Bubba Terry, Joaquin Armijo and Benny Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Sanchez, Abel Puebla, Fabrian Pacheco, Joe Moreno Jr., Jorden Sugarek, Kelly Anderson, Jimmy King, Wade Banta and Jody Carroll.
