Jaime D. Rodriguez, Sr. went home to Jesus on Monday, February 9, 2026, at age 53. He was born on June 14, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to parents Elias A. Rodriguez, Jr. and Mary Dolores Garcia.

On October 13, 2013, he married the love of his life, his wife, Dora Segovia Rodriguez and together they shared 15 years of marriage and went on to raise a son. He spent his life as a Merchant Marine and Security Officer until he retired. Jaime enjoyed spending time with his family and his precious fur-babies, Penny, Penelope, Chucho and Jingles. Jaime was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He also loved plants, fishing and ranch life.

Jaime joins his father, Elias A Rodriguez, Jr., grandparents, his Nana, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Maria Teresa Segovia, and many other loved ones in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Segovia Rodriguez, his son, Jaime D. Rodriguez, Jr. (Abigail Esquivel), his mother, Mary D. Ortiz, his sister, Mary Dolores Rodriguez, two brothers, Elias Rodriguez, III and Gerardo E. Rodriguez (Patricia), nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many more loving family members and friends.

Services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 1:00pm and a Funeral Service will be held by Pastor Isaac DeLosSantos at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Evangelico Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Wiatrek, Gerardo Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez, Jr., James Jay Bowden, Andres Barrera, and Felix Pantoja, Jr.
