George Edward Cook

COOK, George Edward Age 92 of Trotwood, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Berea, KY on Dec. 31, 1921 to his parents, John & Bessie (Garrett) Cook. George was preceded in death by his parents, and 9 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Jean (Derringer) Cook; 2 daughters, Phyllis Kokoropoulos, and Sharon (Rodney) Fuller; 1 son, Kenneth Edward (Donna) Cook; 1 brother, Odis (Sue) Cook; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. George shared Jesus everywhere he went. He loved gardening, wood splitting, his pets, and the great outdoors. Visitation will be held from 12-1PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at Rogers' Funeral Home, Trotwood. Pastors Dan Kincer and Ron Houser officiating.
