George W. Cunningham
Passed away at home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the age of 78. George was born on February 16, 1947 in Elmira, NY, son of the late George W. and Jane Baker Cunningham.
George was a graduate of Horseheads High School, Class of 1966. He was employed by P&C foods in Horseheads for several years. He was a life long music enthusiast and drummer, avid reader, record collector, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a love for the Adirondacks throughout his entire lifetime, making memories with multiple family members and friends.
George is pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years, Constance "Connie" Cunningham; sisters, Mary Ellen Miller and Christine Kauffman; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Leon Watts Sr; and grandmother-in-law, Bernice Gauss.
He is survived by his three children and partners: Rebecca Cunningham of Elmira, NY, Tanya (Robert) Carbonaro of Auburn, NY, and Timothy Cunningham (Sarah Malseed) of Elmira Heights, NY, as well as six grandchildren: Matthew and Stefanie Ruggiero, Samuel and Jack Carbonaro, Nico and Juno Cunningham. Surviving siblings include: Thomas (Lovie) Cunningham and Charles (Grace) Cunningham; sister-in-law, Christine O'Dell and brother-in-law, Bud Watts. In addition, a special lifelong friend, Sandra Graves, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
