George Vernon Davis, Jr., who resided near Delaware, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on June 16, 1968, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late George Vernon Davis, Sr. and Anna Bell (Forrester) Davis. He was 57 years old.

For a few years, George was a bricklayer. He loved shooting pool, gardening, and going fishing. His biggest joy and best friend was his dog, Black Betty. George was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by three sisters, Jeanette Rodgers of Russellville, Robbie Hick of New Blaine, and Marsha Davis and husband Randy of Delaware; a brother, Michael Davis and wife Amy of Dardanelle; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
