DEEB, George Michael, 88, of Richmond, passed from death unto eternal life on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Survived by wife of 60 years, Fefe; son, Michael (Elizabeth); grandson, Peter (Robyn); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Born in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., he lived many places including New York City, Lynchburg and Richmond,Va. He had many talents and accomplishments, including loving to sing and dance. He touched many lives with his zest for God, life and laughter. He was full of energy, generosity and adventure. His remains rest at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, at Bliley's - Central. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 11, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Ave., Richmond, Va. 23221, followed by entombment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. 23238. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral Building Fund.
