George Dierolf Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC - Pottstown on Dec. 13, 2024.
George Dierolf, Jr. (Butch) of Reading, PA passed away on December 2nd, 2024 at the age of 68 years. He was born on February 29th, 1956 in Montgomery County, and he was the son of the late George Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Dierolf.
George Jr. was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School, 1974, and Alvernia College, 1977. He is survived by his brothers, James and Kenneth Dierolf, his nephews Matthew Dierolf and Jason Dierolf and his nieces Alicia LePera and Brandi Dierolf.
He will be remembered for his love of hunting in his teens and 20s. George's (Butch's) life was a testament to the strength it takes to live with mental illness, and we are grateful for the time we had with him.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a mental health organization of your preference to support others facing similar struggles. Rest in peace.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.

I had so many good memories of Butch we did a lot of fun stuff together. Like the time we went to Jamaica with my uncle and were jumping off 60 ft clifts at Rick's cafe. May you rest in peace my friend.
