George Dodd Obituary
A memorial service for George Dodd, age 76, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Mr. Dodd passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, in Rome, Italy.
George Dodd was born October 2, 1947, in Yuma, Arizona to Aubrey Dodd and Fannie Bee Ford Dodd. He was employed with Shell, Aera Energy for 35 years. He was a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Dodd; daughters, Georgena Churchwell and husband, Todd; son, Jesse Lee Dodd; grandchildren, Justin Dodd, Mitchell Dearmore, Madison Dearmore, Bricen Churchwell, Ainsley Churchwell, Zander Dodd; great-granddaughter, Emma Dearmore; sister Delena Harrell.
George was preceded in death by his Parents, Aubrey and Fannie Dodd; sister, Jackie Washburn; son, Thomas Lee Dodd.
