We went hunting and fishing quite a bit. I remember one time at a tank in Laredo where we caught about 60 black bass. They were all small because the tank was overloaded. But it was fun catching them. Another time we were at a pasture near Blanco where I had cattle and we got hungry, so we shot a jackrabbit, built a fire, and cooked it. There were many times that we were with Mister Tooter either fishing, hunting or practicing shooting our pistols. He was a good friend. Our dad always called him George.
