George was loved by his Amtrak family. I commuted with George for many years from Wilmington to NYC. We were train buddies. He was a wonderful, compassionate man who dearly loved his family and will be missed by many.

Dear family,
Seeing George's obituary in our local paper made we think back on my wonderful memories of your family. I was one of the office mates of your mom at Winterthur and we often heard stories of your family happenings. I lost track of your dad when he went to Florida, but many of us at Winterthur certainly will be thinking of your family as you go forward with great memories....

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)

I am a co-worker of Brit's. I was very touched by Mr. Doty's words he sent to the staff at Brit's school in Waunakee. His words made me wish I had had the opportunity to meet him. He sounds like a remarkable man. My condolences go out to Brit and her entire family.
