It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Englezos, who left this life at the age of 91. George passed peacefully, surrounded by the family that was the joy and purpose of his life.
George is survived by his devoted wife, Georgia, and his beloved children:
Gus Englezos and his wife Pauline Englezos
Kathy and her husband Stamatis Kambouras
Michael Englezos and his wife Suzanna Englezos
Frank Englezos and his wife Vera Englezos
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Georgia Englezos and Peter George Englezos, Annie, Gia, and Vasili Kambouras, Evangelia and Georgios Englezos, Melina, Gia, Demi, and George Englezos. Each of them brought immense joy to his life, and his spirit will forever guide them.
George also leaves behind cherished extended family, including his sister-in-law Katerina Parisis, her son Nicko and his wife Lena, her son Foti and his wife Stacey, and their children, beloved brothers and sisters, as well as many relatives and friends near and far who were dear to his heart. Their love and presence enriched his life immeasurably, and he treasured the bonds of family that stretched across generations.
Born in Greece, George carried his homeland in his heart throughout his life. He arrived in America determined to build a better future, and through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering faith, he accomplished the American dream, no matter the challenges, George worked tirelessly to provide for the family he treasured above all else.
His presence was truly special-warm, humble, and always marked by his precious smile. Though he built a life in America, he never forgot his beloved Greece, returning often and holding tightly to the traditions and values that shaped him. His deep faith and strong devotion to family were the foundation of his life.
George's life was a testament to integrity, sacrifice, and boundless love. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the values he instilled, and the example he set through a lifetime of faith and hard work.
