George Gagliano Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care - Palm Bay on Feb. 24, 2026.
On January 25th, 2026, George Nicholas Gagliano lost his year-long battle with brain cancer. He passed peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family.

The 3rd of four siblings, George was born on April 22nd, 1957, at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, to Nicholas George Gagliano & Marie Josephine Gagliano (Pirrone). At a young age, George's family relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida. Specifically, Capri Island.

He was an inquisitive youth, constantly taking things apart to see how they worked and attempting to make them better, a trait that would follow him for the rest of his life, leading to a career as a Master Electronic Technician and Analyst. He also invented a patented grounding System. When something needed fixing, building, or even created, George was the one to go to. He helped so many people over the years in ways that truly impacted their lives. When a hurricane destroyed his parents' dock, he gave up several weekends to rebuild it on his own. To raise money for the Grant Community, and later the Boy Scouts, George designed and ran a haunted house that would rival any theme park. After his mother-in-law, whom he just called "Mom," became ill due to COPD and heart conditions, George turned her room into a hospital-quality room, complete with suction and an adjustable O2 regulation system. There are so many stories of George's kindness and love that it would take a novel just to scratch the surface.

When George met his wife of 30 years, Patricia Ann Gagliano, he found his soulmate. Together, they created a safe haven. It is a place where they could raise their 4 children in relative comfort and safety. Their love could be felt by those around them, which led to so many people being drawn to them and causing their family to grow larger every year.

George is survived by his wife, Patricia (Patty); his children, David (Donna), Amber (Frank), Kyle (Crystal), and Nicholas; his siblings, Regina, Paul, and Cecelia (Rick); and his six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on March 21st at 2 pm at Ammen Family Cremation Funeral Home, 950 Malabar Rd SE, Palm Bay, FL 32907. Reception: Memaw's Bar. B.Q, 4916 Babcock St NE, Palm Bay, Fl 32907. All are welcome.
