George Demetrios Geroulis, 85, fell asleep into the Lord on October 20, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. George was born on May 19, 1940 to Demetrios and Eleni Geroulis in Steno, Tripolis Greece.
From 1963-1964, George served in the Greek military and was stationed in the northern part of Greece. He immigrated to the United States immediately following the completion of his service to be with his brother and sisters who had immigrated here prior to his arrival.
George was an electrician by trade and with this job he was able to travel widely throughout the United States.
In his spare time George was an avid gardener and had a remarkable skill to grow the best zucchini, tomatoes and beans. Year after year, he lovingly shared the abundance of his harvest with family and friends.
George is survived by his sister, Stacey E. Apostoles, brother Gus (Kathy) Geroulis, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Demetrios and Eleni Geroulis, sisters Maria A. Kostarides, Georgia P. Derziotis, brother Spiro Geroulis and infant niece Helen K. Geroulis.
Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
