We are sorry to learn of Mr. Gray's passing. It was a privilege to know him as he was such an intelligent, caring, kind man who was a gentleman in the truest sense. He was also a most loving and devoted husband to Mrs. Gardner-Gray, and we appreciate the example he set of caring for a spouse in sickness and in health. May God comfort each family member and friend he leaves behind. Our prayers are with those grieving the loss of such a wonderful man.

Robert and Margaret...I was so sorry to read about your Dad's death in the paper. He and my late husband, Bob Heterick, were not only professor/grad. student, but friends. He was Bob's the major professor when he was working on his PhD, and they taught together for several years. He was Godfather to our son Bruce, and your Mother taught piano to one of our daughters. I remember many nights we would see the lights from our home on Owens St. in your Dad's "man cave" working on or grading
papers. They took several trips together to present papers and Bob felt that your Dad was the one who convinced him to go into teaching. Maybe they have met again after all these years and are building a structure for the heavens. My deepest sympathy to all your family.

George Gray was a gentleman and a great friend. He was kind and generous. His amazing love and care for Ann was an example not easily matched anywhere. We were privileged to know him and to spend time with him over the years. May God's special peace and comfort be with each family member and friend. Hold to your many memories.
