I was very saddened to learn of George's sudden passing. The world's great loss is now heaven's great gain!

I worked with George for a short period of time at BMC Software supporting the product has was the absolute master of (Application Restart/Control). Due to my lack of experience with ARC, I often relied heavily on George's input in connection with the various questions and issues received from the user community. In all cases, he provided accurate and timely information and was always patient when dealing with my limited understanding of things.

Rest in Peace George, you will be sorely missed!

Condolences to his family. Worked with him since last 5 years. He was always calm, clear and confidence.
He didn´t just lead, he inspired. He will be remembered with deep gratitude and affection.
George, You´ll be missed not just for what you knew-but for who you were. Will miss you at every teams call, every chat.....

I was so sad to hear of George's passing. I worked with him in the 90's at BMC and was always amazed by his intellect and quiet strength and humility. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Over my 30+ years working with George, I was continually amazed by his insights, thoroughness, and desire to move Application Restart Control from its infancy to the successful product that it has become.

A fond memory of my many interactions with George is when I would ask him something, or make a suggestion, he would pause for an "uncomfortable" period of time before replying. During that pause, his mind was probably tracing the logic flow through half a dozen modules, or designing something on the fly. When he finally gave me an answer, it was ALWAYS right.

I´m glad our paths crossed.... RIP George

Having worked with George for over 30 years at BMC Software, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. We have been working together on a large project the past year and George was the ultimate professional and great leader on his team. His legacy at BMC is huge. He was the lead developer of our Application Restart Control products and responsible for well over a million lines of product code. He will be missed terribly.

It was a privilege to know George personally, he was a thoughtful and kind man. My deepest condolences to his family and friends for your loss.
