George Hammock Obituary
He moved to Kissimmee in 2018 from Umatilla, Florida. George worked as a dedicated truck driver and was a proud member of the Million Mile Club with Mayflower Trucking Company. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, where he found purpose and community.
George is survived by his children:
• Christopher Hammock and his wife Michelle of Kissimmee, Florida
• Michael Dayton Hammock and his wife Jennifer of Riverton, Wyoming
• Deborah Jean Stevens and her wife Carmen of Billerica, Massachusetts
He is also survived by his sisters:
• Donna LeMay and her husband Richard of Canyon City, Colorado
• Sandra Hammock of Graham, Oklahoma
George leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by:
• His loving wife of 56 years, Judith Hammock, who passed away in 2020
• His parents, Dayton and Laree Hammock
• His son, Bradley Hammock
• Two sisters Dora Diamond and Shirley Roney and three brothers Darrell, Robert and Denis Hammock.
Services for George Dayton Hammock will be held through Miller and Miller Funeral Home, 3151 Jackson Street, Hugo, Oklahoma 74743; 580 326 8331. Please call for service times.
The family is being cared for locally by Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home, 511 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, Florida 34741; 407 847 3188.
