George Hanger Obituary

Published by Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory on Oct. 30, 2015.

George was born on November 27, 1917 and passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. George was a resident of Staunton, Virginia at the time of his passing. George graduated from Middlebrook High School. He served in the Army Air Corps in England during World War II. He was married to Betty. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday October 31 at Central United Methodist Church in Staunton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations may be made to: Augusta Health Foundation Hospice of the Shenandoah P.O. Box 1000 Fishersville VA 22939.

Dear Mrs. Hanger and family,

I am just now finding out about Mr. Hanger's passing. I am so very sorry to hear. Mr. Hanger and you were an important part of my childhood with my family living right across the street. My mom and dad really loved you as neighbors. Such wonderfull memories. My prayers are with you and your family.
