I got to know George by working with him at MEI. He was kind and caring. Even when he was in the hospital being treated, he felt compelled to check in and make sure the business of the Investment Committe that he Chaired was not interrupted. He will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences and may rest in peace.

Oh gosh! This is such a upsetting surprise. George was a stellar person. There is a lot more I could say but it is too distressing right now to think of it all.

Dear Hoguet Family,
We were deeply saddened to learn of George´s passing. In addition to enjoying and experiencing his intellectual curiosity, his smile, sense of humor and lightness of spirit were a joy to behold. His support and the brilliant conversation he hosted with Ben Bernanke when he was Chair of CFA Society Boston will always be remembered.
With deepest sympathies and prayers,
Jeff & Patti Augustine
