George Edward Howard Sr. was born on December 1st, 1929, in Montgomery, Alabama. He was born to Frank and Annie Greene Howard. He accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He came to Michigan after high school to work in the auto industry. He worked as a skilled laborer his whole career and retired from General Motors. He was extremely active his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with family, going to state parks, riding bikes, fishing, basketball, bowling and more. He was very passionate about Civil Rights. He was one of the first to integrate bowling of African Americans in Pontiac, Michigan. He loved all of his family dearly and never failed to express how blessed he was. He touched the lives of many with his resilient spirit. He's known as a sharp dresser. He was a family man and his nick names were Trixie, Pops and Poppa George.
