George Hudson Obituary
George Edward Hudson, age 88, of Big Lake, MN, passed away in his home on February 1, 2026. George is survived by his daughters Lori (Joe) Eschenbacher, Janis (Craig) Wokson, Lisa (Joe Henrich) Sorensen, and son Scott (Lisa) Hudson. George is also survived by his brother Warren (Marge) Hudson, sister Penny Dobbins, grandchildren (Cynthia, Carrina, David, Clare, Daniel and Keith) and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn, his mother and father LeRoy and Ruth Hudson, and his siblings Duane, Janet, Tom, and Mary Lee. Services and interment for George will be private. George was known for his quiet wisdom, keen sense of adventure, and love of nature. In remembrance of George's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Friends of Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge at: exploresherburne.org/give
