George Kasper Obituary

He was born June 3, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Anna and Joseph Kasper. He was the loving husband of Joy Moran Kasper, who survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Vera Kasper; and brother, Edward Kasper.
He was an almost fifty-year employee of Lamarche Manufacturing Company of Des Plaines, Illinois, who mentored many. When he retired, he was head of their test and development lab for many years.
Prior to retiring to Tennessee, he and his wife retired to Shalimar, Florida, so he could enjoy sailing. He also enjoyed the outdoors and especially spending time visiting many of our nation's National Parks.
A private burial service will be held at Berry Highland West on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Ground Hospice House, 1120 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918.
