George Michael Maloof
March 18, 1991 – November 5, 2025
Goldsboro-George Michael Maloof, 34, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. George was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Elie and Sharon Liles Maloof on March 18, 1991. George was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wally Liles; paternal grandfather, George Maloof; and special cousin, Kyle Lowman.
George lived life with remarkable energy, courage, and heart. With a great love of travel, he especially enjoyed trips to Lebanon where he cherished time spent with his grandparents and extended family. Adventure seemed to call to him, whether through exploring new places, taking bold risks, or throwing himself fully into new experiences. He faced life head-on, with determination and joy.
Known for his big heart and steadfast loyalty, George was a constant source of support and laughter for his family and friends. His time with loved ones was what he treasured most, and his presence brought warmth and vitality to every gathering.
A service of love and remembrance will be held at Rouse Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 with Pastor Chris Truett officiating. The family will receive friends in the hour before service.
In addition to his parents, George is survived by his brother, Sam Maloof; maternal grandmother, Peggy Liles; paternal grandmother, Georgette Debs; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Susan Lowman, Jacob and Nina Debs, Joe and Dena Debs, and Henriette and Dom Galeri; cousins, Chris Lowman (wife Danielle), Melissa Tripp (husband Brian & children Zander & Jasper), Camilla Galeri, Christina Debs and Clara Debs; as well as the family of his late cousin, Kyle: Jessica Lowman Miller (Steve) and daughter, Kailey Lowman Miller; along with many beloved extended family members.
