GEORGE M. MANNETTA

MANNETTA, George M. Of Saugus, age 70, peacefully passed away, on Monday, May 26, surrounded by his loving family. George spent his early childhood in East Boston before moving to Saugus, where he met his wife and had five beautiful children. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, a time he remained deeply connected to and honored throughout his life as a proud veteran. After his military service, George worked for the Boston Post Office and was fortunate to enjoy an early retirement. He enjoyed golfing, cruising in his Corvette or on his Harley Davidson, listening to music, attending concerts with his children, and fishing on Stellwagen bank from his beloved boat. George was preceded in death by his ex-wife, friend, and mother of his children, Donna Lorraine Mannetta; and by his loving parents, Marie (Tucker) Mazzone and stepfather, Americo Mazone. He is survived by his five children, Michael (Maura), Brian (Jennifer), Maureen (Charlie) Cejour, Danielle, and Craig. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Jameson, Jaysean, Keira, Sophia, and Ryan. Private Services were held. Arrangements by Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home.
