George Martin Obituary
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time Wednesday, at the funeral home.
**Due to inclement weather, changes to the service times may be subject to change.
A lifelong resident of Bedford County, George was known for his deep love of family and the outdoors.
George is survived by his parents, George Rayburn Martin, Sr. and Connie Pendergrast; his longtime partner, Jamie Marie Cooper; his children, Caleb Martin, Colson Martin, and Caitlin Cooper; his brother, Steven Martin; and his sister, Tierra (Matt) Miller.
George was a devoted family man who adored his children above all else. He found great joy in fishing, kayaking, and spending time outdoors, and he also enjoyed listening to music. His presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I haven't known you for a very long time but the time I have known you I came to really appreciate the friendship we built. You never hesitated to help me and to listen to anything I had going on in my crazy life Rayburn. Thanks for everything my friend. You will be sadly missed Brother.
