Obituary of George E. "Jay" McDonald, Jr.

George E. "Jay" McDonald, Jr., of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Woburn, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2025. He was 59 years of age.

Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of George E., and J. Donna (Quinn) McDonald of Woburn. "Jay" as he was known to family and friends, was a graduate of Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, Maine.

Jay worked as an Iron Worker with the Ironworkers Local #7 in Boston. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and he enjoyed spending time with family at the beach in Rye NH.

In addition to his parents George and Donna; Jay is survived by his two sisters, Susan Uzdavinis of Bristol, NH, and Laurie McDonald Colpitts and her husband Jerry of Plymouth, NH; and his two nieces, Amy Uzdavinis Menezes and her husband Arthur Menezes and their three children Lily, Arthur, and Anthony, all of Dunstable, and Jill Uzdavinis and her husband Ryan Garland of Dover NH.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
