Obituary of Ann E. Keniston
Ann Elizabeth (Irving) Keniston, 72, passed away peacefully, at Blaire House of Tewksbury MA, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. The greatest joy of her life was being a mother to her daughter, Caroline, a role she cherished above all else.
A Burlington High School graduate, Class of 1971, Ann married the love of her life, David Carl Keniston on May 4, 1974. Together, they traveled extensively across the United States, making lasting memories in places such as California, Nevada, Louisiana, and many others.
In the early years of her marriage, Ann built a successful career in banking. She worked her way up from a bank teller to a mortgage processing professional, taking great pride in her work and the contribution she made to her family.
Ann treasured the friendships she formed throughout her life. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and the deep, genuine love she had for those around her. Time spent with family and friends was a source of endless joy for her, and she leaves behind countless cherished memories.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, William and Ruth Irving of Burlington MA; her brother, Glenn Irving; and her sister, Lynne (Irving) Pollino.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, David Carl Keniston; their daughter, Caroline Bailey (Keniston) McDade and her husband Liam Mark; and their beloved granddaughter, Maeve Ann McDade. She is also survived by her brother, John William Irving, and his wife Mary Prescott; and her sister-in-law Sharon Irving, the wife of the late Glenn Irving; along with many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Tuesday, July 22 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00am. Services will conclude with Burial at the Tewksbury Cemetery.
In honor of Ann's memory, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts, 320 Nevada St., Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
