George McNabb was born at Smoky Hill Air Force Base Hospital to Bill and Myra McNabb. During his childhood, his family moved frequently between Michigan, where his father's family resided, and Kansas, where his mother's family lived. Eventually, George settled in Michigan, where he met and married the love of his life, Debbie.
George's greatest passion and pleasure was music. He played guitar and bass in several bands, sharing his love for music with many. He also took great pride in working in his yard, which was a testament to his dedication and hard work. George cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and he was very proud of each and every one of them. Known for his kindness and generosity, George never turned his back on anyone and was always ready to help those in need.
George dedicated 36 years of his life to working at UPS, where he made many dear friends before retiring a year and a half ago. He enjoyed watching sports and was a devoted patriot.
George is survived by his brother Robert, his sister Carlene, his children George McNabb (wife April) and Michele Humphrey, and his grandchildren: John (wife Krista), George, Marcina, Derrick (girlfriend Anne), Justin, Tyler, Nevaya, Mia, Bailey (husband Nicholas), Carter, Zane, and Rylee. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Kyndall, Mason, Maisley, Lyric, Jesse, and Harper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Sheri and Carol, his brother Billy, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
George's kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel; 1920 E. Crawford, Salina, KS 67401. Inurnment will be at a later date.

My first memory of George was in the summer 1979. He came to Michigan to pick our family up and help us move to Kansas. He drove the whole way. Taught me family is everything. Even when you´re miles away.
