George Mesteth Obituary
Sheldon participated in the Big Foot Ride in the late 80's and early 90's. He was a good laborer and ranch hand.
Sheldon is survived by his daughter, Tariah Mesteth; sister, Brandi Apple; aunts, Kathy Dillon and LaVonne Mesteth; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his father, George H. Mesteth; mother, Revalyn Mesteth; paternal grandparents, Max & Cecelia Mesteth; maternal grandparents, Royal & Rose Yankton; Tariah's mother, Jerilyn Old Horse; his beloved horse, Jack; and numerous relatives.
Pallbearers will be Robert Red Eagle II, Owen Two Bulls, Corey Yankton, WD Fire Thunder, Franklin Steele, Terrence Little Dog, Bobby Little Dog, Leroy Looks Twice, Jr., and Gordon Looks Twice.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
Visitation Services: Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Manderson Community Church in Manderson, SD.
Funeral Services: 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Manderson Community Church in Manderson, SD.
Officiating: Pastor Jeremy Muow
Burial Services: Mesteth Family Cemetery, White Horse Creek near Manderson, SD.
