George Milne Obituary

A third-generation Broadway stagehand, George was born to Douglas and Joyce (Edward's) Milne on December 16, 1960 in Anchorage, Alaska. He could often be found roaming antique fairs with his wife, spending days in the woods hunting and enjoying nature, or playing with his much-loved grandson, Jacob.
George is survived by his wife Michaela; his daughter Melissa Graves, his son-in-law AJ, and his cherished grandson Jacob; his daughter Jessica Milne and her partner Barry; his mother Joyce Milne; and his niece Magen Aveta, her husband David, and children Charlotte and Greyson. He is predeceased by his father Douglas Milne, and brother Michael Milne.
A celebration of life will be held at the start of September.

My earliest memory of George was when he gave me a ride in his tow truck up Howland Ave in River Edge. I swore I would never get in his truck again!
It was a different time. Everyone just hanging out in the neighborhood: Milnes, Kavanaughs, Bedrosians, Delades.
It was many days ago, but also yesterday.
