George Milton Morey Jr.

George M. Morey, 85, of Mustang, OK died Saturday 4/15/23 at Integris Hospice House. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, but resided in many towns throughout his life. Most recently being in Mustang at Whispering Creek Retirement Community where he enjoyed visiting with other residents. George led a life of servanthood. He proudly served in the US Army for 20 years, as well as serving as a Tampa, FL police officer and also serving the city of Mustang by working at the Community center. George is survived by his former spouse, Nancy Morey, daughter, Shannon Morey, son Michael Morey and his wife Amy Morey as well as 2 grandchildren, Kaden and Kalee Morey, all from Yukon, OK. He is also survived by niece Katherine Morey and nephew William (Bill) Morey. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 20th, on what would have been George's 86th birthday, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held at Yanda and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19th from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
