My dad (Robert Long) was on the State Patrol with George when I was growing up. I remember he was always very kind. Thinking of you all during this difficult time and sending prayers.

I remember Trooper Morris when I was in grade school in the 1960's and 1970's. He would come to our school and teach us about safety. I grew up on a farm west of Wood River and attended country school at Hall County District #5 west of Wood River, right off Hwy. #30. Trooper Morris was one who you would never forget. He was a State Trooper who put a smile on your face as a youngster. To his family - be proud to know he made a difference in my life as a young boy. I will always remember Trooper Morris. Heaven has gained a great saint.
