George W. Pappas, 86, of Erlanger, KY, formerly of Bellevue, KY, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022. He was born on April 22, 1936, to the late William and Sylvia (Bukes) Pappas. George was the co-owner of The Odeon restaurant and pool hall in Covington, KY, with his brother, Ted, where he worked for many years, made great memories, and supported his community. Later in life he began work as a Court Security Officer in the office of the Kenton County Sheriff. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Joan Lee (Zachritz) Pappas and brother Ted W. Pappas. He is survived by his sons, Bill J. (Chris) Pappas and Ted G. (Andrea) Pappas. He is also survived by his grandsons, Nathan and Joseph. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017 from 3:00-4:30pm. A prayer service will take place following visitation at 4:30pm. A private internment will occur at a future date at Highland Cemetery.

It was such an honor to care for and love George. He will be missed greatly. I know that he is now happy in the arms of Jesus and his wife. Prayers to his family for peace at this time.
