George W. Ramirez Sr.

George W. Ramirez, Sr., 78, of Baytown was born February 22, 1934 in Laredo, TX and passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a job he loved. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Gonzalez; wife, Lorenza Ramirez; brothers, Roman Hernandez and Julian Gonzalez; and son, Robert Ramirez. He is survived by his children, George Ramirez, Jr. and wife, Laura, Ana Ramirez, Erlinda Hernandez, Carlos Ramirez, Caroline Saenz, Jesse Ramirez and wife, Patricia, Margarita Gonzalez, Michael Ramirez and wife, Sulema, and Dennis Stanley; brothers and sisters, Virginia Martinez, Rosa Ramirez, Paul Gonzales, Elizabeth Fernandez, Mary Helen Vasquez, and Johnny Gonzalez; 32 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Naomi Roberts.
