George E.. Ramsammy passed away on March 18, 2024 at Silver Lake Hospital, Newark, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The First Lutheran Church of Montclair, on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair. Visitation is at the O'Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Mr. Ramsammy was born and raised in Guyana., and Moved the United States 50 years ago. He was a member of he First Luthern Church of Montclair. He worked in security for the county of Essex at the County Psyctriatric Hospital in Cedar Grove for over 30 yrs.
Father of Gail Ramsammy and the late Dwayne Ramsammy, Grandfather of Dwayne Ramsammy. Brother of Elsie Persaud, Lena Baijnauth, Gaston Ramsammy and is wife Doris,, Lilith Singh, Judith Khan, Arnold Ramsammy, Calvin Ramsammy and his wife Tara, Jennifer Bishundeo and her husband Suresh, Dennis Ramsammy and his wife Indra and Janet Sarran and her husband Chris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of our former coworker, Mr. George Ramsammy. We worked together for many years at Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove, and he will be remembered as a kind and gentle man by those who knew and worked with him. May he RIP, and may God's grace and mercy give peace and comfort to all who knew and loved him.
