George Charles Repko

GEORGE CHARLES REPKO, age 93 was called to eternal rest on September 28, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to Caroline and Peter Repko. George proudly served in the United States Air Force as a flight engineer from 1950 – 1954. Upon discharge, he met the girl of his dreams, Toni Malek of Chicago, and the two were wed on August 27, 1955. George attended Fenn College and the Cleveland School of Engineering, graduating as an electrical engineer. He worked for several engineering firms in Cleveland and was called out of retirement to work for Mount Siani and University Hospitals as a project manager for new construction. He only fully retired at the age of 81 to car for his aging and beloved Toni.

George and Toni had two children, Tom (Connie) and Lori Davis (Josh). He is the grandfather of Jessica (Rick), Sam (Brandy), Ryan (Kati), and Jordan (Amber) and the great grandfather of eleven. George was blessed twice with an amazing second wife, Stella Slechta, with whom he laughed and loved through the last eight years of his life. George was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and Peter; his loving wife Toni; his precious daughter, Lori; and his sister Wilma Strnad (Stanley).

He was a member of DTJ and Sokol Bohemian clubs where he celebrated his heritage in friendship, food, and music.

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR MEMORIAL VISITATION ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2025 FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. Funeral Friday, October 10, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Interment Nativity B.V.M. Mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery.
