GEORGE RUSSELL Obituary
George Russell entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 75. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. He was formerly employed as a Supervisor with National Furniture Warehouse. Loving father of Zelika Russell, Christopher Russell, Everette Russell, and the late Erica “Onnie’ Russell. Devoted grandfather of Zoe and Zane. Son of the late Arthur Russell, Jr. and Ernestine Campbell. Beloved brother of Tonette Russell, Carlos Russell, and the late Janice Jones, Arthur “Rickey” Russell, Edward “Smokie” Russell, and Mark Russell. Uncle of Erica Johnson, Courtney Shelby, and Alphonso Jones. Godfather of Demone (Elmonica) Guillard. Father-in-law of Kasey Russell; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
