George was a soldier. He was one of my men. A superb repairman who kept our radios I top form. Our last visit was in Columbus a few years ago . Another Garry Owen trooper from our 2/7 days waits at the Tavern on the Green ... A good man. Condolences to all the children and grands. Bud Alley

George was a remarkable person. He treated me like family. I will always remember the laughs we shared together. The talks and some tears we shared. He lived talking about his wife and family. He was always "tinkering" with something..tools and yard equipment were easier for him to fix..but man, the phones , tv and computers..were a whole other ballpark...someone always had to come fix them. And, he definitely had a stubborn streak (must run in the family). However, we did share a lot of funny moments! Thank you George for accepting me as part of your family! I will always cherish our times spent together..and will always love your family; promises kept. You shall be missed, however, I am certain you have a dance for your wife for sure.
