George D. Shaak, 92, of Lebanon, passed away June 26, 2025 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Lee and Carrie (Swanger) Shaak. He worked for Bell Telephone Company and retired from Verizon. He was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, served in the United States Army, and had a love for music, the arts, reading, gardening, traveling and family. He is survived by a brother, John Shaak of California. He is also survived by five nieces and a nephew: Cindy Emma of New Jersey; Cathy Wise and Caren Butera of Pennsylvania; Tom Shaak of Mississippi; Leslie Hitelman of Massachusetts; and Jamie Ragan of Colorado. He also had 12 great nieces and nephews and seven grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Shaak and James Shaak, both of Lebanon, Bernard Shaak of Colorado, and niece Kimberly Shaak Panjwani of New York.
