Paul and Stephanie met in September 1964 at Medford Hight School, dated for one year then went their separate ways. After 34 years, they reunited, fell in love, got married and spent 24 years together.

One of the things Paul was very proud of was serving his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Paul enjoyed playing golf, especially his Friday tee time with his best friend Ralph Ford. He also loved to cook and made the best chicken vegetable soup and baked the best Biscotti's. Paul enjoyed traveling, cruises, a trip to Maine but his "Happy Place" was Aruba. He liked reading, painting, going out to dinner and going to the casino. He was very proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
