George Snow, Jr., 68, of Spring Lake passed away on February 5, 2026.

George was born on December 8, 1957, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to the late George Snow, Sr. and Kathryn Peacock Snow. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley M. Snow of Red Creek, New York; his sister, Bonnie Bimler; his brother, Michael Snow; and his nephew, David Snow.

George is survived by his loving family, sisters, Gloria Wacks (Gary) of Kentucky and Cindy Snow of Spring Lake, North Carolina; brother, Ronald Snow of Spring Lake; brother-in-law, Richard Bimler of Pennsylvania; his stepdaughter, Eileen Burghdurf, Jr. (Horace) of New York; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

George was known for his kind and thoughtful nature and his big heart. He was always willing to help others. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. Adventurous and competitive, George was never afraid of heights and truly enjoyed being outside. In his younger years, he was athletic and especially excelled at baseball, where he was known for his pitching. George will be remembered for his generous spirit, love of life, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026 beginning at 1:00pm at Central Baptist Church, Spring Lake. There will be a Celebration of Life honoring George at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Spring Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 602 Spring Ave., Spring Lake, NC 28390.

Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.

I'm sure gonna miss you old friend, my heart aches for you, and for your family. I hope now, your spirit is in peace and you can truly be happy in your heart, cause you weren't here on this earth. Glad you are back with Shirley, give her a hug for me, as well as your parents, and siblings that are up there with you, hug my brother Mike for me also...rest in peace George Snow, I love you...
