George Weber Obituary

George A. Weber Jr.
George A. Weber Jr., 75, of West Haven, passed away on March 3, 2026, at his home. George was born on July 29, 1950, in Milford, CT, to the late George A. Weber Sr. and Mary T. Weber.
George lived a life defined by dedication, discipline, and deep love for his family. He first answered the call to serve his country, entering the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. After returning home, George pursued his education and is a proud graduate of the Connecticut School of Electronics. A lifelong railroad employee, George steadily rose through the ranks to become Assistant Director of Communications and Signal Operations. After a distinguished career, he retired at the age of 59 in 2009 from MTA Metro North, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
Outside of work, George was a man in constant motion. An avid runner, he maintained daily runs and participated in marathons and triathlons. He could always be spotted at a local road race. He loved cycling, admired classic cars, and brought laughter wherever he went with his sharp wit and reputation as a practical joker. Fun-loving and personable, George spoke with his family every single day and was his grandchildren's biggest supporter at games, performances, and milestones. Above all else, he was most proud of being a beloved "Papi," a title he carried with immense joy and honor. His strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family will be cherished always.
George is survived by his beloved children, Bryan Weber (Jennifer) and Karen Pascale (Luigi); grandchildren, Grace Weber, Marco Pascale, Luciano Pascale, and Gia Pascale; and sisters, Judith Neilson (Theodore) and Diane Dejlitko (Christopher). He is also survived by his loving nephews and niece, as well as many cherished family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT 06460.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's honor to the American Diabetes Foundation online at www.diabetes.org . This charity was close to George's heart, as he was a Type 1 Diabetic. He proudly took part in the yearly Tour de Cure cycling charity event run by the American Diabetes Foundation.
