Born June 11, 1965, in Houston, TX, George Everitt White was a man of strength and perseverance. After putting up a hell of a fight with diabetes, he passed away in the early morning hours of May 23, 2025, at his home in Cleveland, TX. George was a devoted husband to his dearest friend and wife Sandy for more than 40 years; they built a life where they were fortunate to see their love grow from adolescence into adulthood, where they found a passion for good music, big laughs, cold beer, and the occasional muddy ride through the biggest mud-holes he could find. George found his greatest accomplishments in the circle of his family and was fiercely loving to his daughter Misty and husband Charlie, grandchildren Shania (Jude) and Christopher, and great granddaughter Kadence. He was also fortunate in life to meet a young man name Christino, who he loved as a son, and he held him and his family dear to his heart.

George is preceded in death by his parents James Willard and Doris Corinne White, and father-in-law William Don Goad. He is survived by his siblings Pam (Ruben), Randy (Betty), Calvin, Dana (Rick), Marcus (Jenny), Gerry (Tom), Jason (Janine), sister-in-law Karen, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, his life-long best friend Keith, and numerous other friends.

George built a career in concrete, established a business and provided a great life for his family. It was a rare occasion to see George without Sandy by his side, from their trips hunting and fishing, riding their Harley’s through the back roads, spending a day of barbeque, good music and drinks by the pool, or just sitting around a campfire with a glass of Jack in hand talking about the good old days. Together, they experienced a life full throttle, full of happiness, family, and great memories.

A few of his daughter Misty’s favorite past-times were sitting out on the porch listening to old rock-n-roll music with her daddy and talking the night away or turning all the lights off and watching scary movies where she always inevitably ended up in his lap. His granddaughter Shania is so grateful to have been raised by such a loving and present Pawpaw who gave her the world and has an immense appreciation that he was able to be a part of her journey and build a bond with Kadence before he left us way too soon. When asked, Christopher said one of his most memorable experiences with his Pawpaw was when they recently went fishing and he was catching all the fish when his Pawpaw caught none. Any given weekend Sandy might catch those two tinkering and fixing things out in the garage or just hanging out where George was teaching him how to do new things. George was an amazing, ever-present father and grandfather. With a profoundly thunderous presence, his absence will leave a deep void, but his legacy will continue through those who have cherished his love.

Sandy would like to extend her sincerest gratitude and love to those who were able to immediately be by her side in her time of need, in those moments you were her strength.

A funeral service for George will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home 200 S. Washington Ave. Cleveland, Texas 77327. Interment will immediately follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. A celebration of life will resume at the home of Jason and Janine White at 4pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Their residence is located at 17219 Pecos Dr, Splendora, TX 77372.
