Georgie C White Jr. (Butch) born July 15, 1950 to the parents of George C White Sr.and Charlotte Louise Handy-White (preceded in death), was a loving husband father son brother and friend,
George was one of 8 children, Patricia,Charlotte, Constance, Vanessa, Sherwood (terry), Steven ( whom all preceded him in death) and Tyrone ( his only survived sibling) Caroline and Walter Fitzgerald (sister & brother in law).
George was also the father and father In-law of, Royi Day (Tyrone), George (Scooby), Sonja, Trindie Morton (Donald), Keya, Evelyn (Mariah) Lindsay (Marcellus), Jamal and Rashida, Renee Outlaw (Dejuan) Andrea (Angel) Felicia, and Maurice, with a host of grands, great grands & great great grands, nieces,nephews and close family friends.
George graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1967, after working various jobs before obtaining gain employment with the Philadelphia Sanitation Department where he retired after 35 years. During one of his routes, he met the love of his life Donna ( wife of 30 years) coming out of her home, he smiled she melted and the rest is history,
George was a man of many styles and fashion sense, there was never a time where you would not catch "the mayor" ( as he was so loving known on his street) without his cap on and matching attire he was loved and adored by everyone, he was a card shark no one could beat him in ANY card game ( at least he thought so LOL) he loved playing pool and being a comedian all the time, seeing others happiness made him happy, he loved his dogs( which he had several of) but his Cody is still here whom loves and miss him dearly.
George spent several years battling great health issue being a dialysis patient, a proud member of NA ( which he was a member of for 30 years ), he battled a many day but always managed to keep a smile on his face, he is and always be a man to be missed,
